Our client, a law firm based in the City, is looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join their team. This is a newly created role, reporting to the Legal Recruitment and Trainee Development Manager, assisting with all aspects of recruiting Lawyers and Partners. You will require 2 - 3 years' experience in a similar role, either in a law firm, accountancy or bank, or possibly within an agency placing Lawyers, Accountants or other professionals.
The role is varied and you will be liaising extensively with Partners and Practice Group Managers, drawing up job descriptions, logging applications onto the applicant tracking system, ensuring the system is updated regularly, screening CVs, assisting with scheduling and coordinating interviews, obtaining feedback on all candidates, liaising with the wider HR team, London Hiring Partners, recruitment agencies, ensuring fee arrangements are accurately recorded, producing reports on interviews, offers made, rejections, offers declined and retention rates, from time to time assisting with graduate recruitment in the assistant's absence and generally supporting the Legal Recruitment Manager in all aspects.
As this is a newly created role, there is plenty of scope to make it your own, putting in place necessary procedures as part of the firm's expansion plans.
You will require good academics including a University degree, plus excellent communication skills in order to be able to liaise confidently with Senior Partners and Managers. A positive, "can-do" attitude is also essential, with good organisational and administration skills and a high degree of accuracy.
You will need to have 2 - 3 years' recruitment administration experience ideally gained within a law firm, although they would consider other professional services such as accountancy or banking. Salary is £30-32k, depending on experience. Lovely offices, with friendly, supportive team environment and excellent career prospects. We are only able to consider applicants who meet all of the above requirements.
