Corporate Counsel - Dynamic Pharma Start-Up - Flexible Working

This would be an excellent role for a lawyer who wants to work in an entrepreneurial environment within a very exciting and dynamic sector, where you will be joining a small, but growing business, reporting directly to the General Counsel and having regular interaction with the board.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing high quality legal advice and support to all business areas of the group
• Negotiating, drafting and supporting on a broad range of matters that include the following:
• Multinational high value M&A transactions
• Commercial contracts
• Supply chain contracts
• Licencing and distribution agreements
• Managing and maintaining an extensive global IP portfolio which includes patents and trademarks
• Supporting the business with planning, coordination and the preparation for board meetings
• Identifying legal and commercial risks within the business and offering high standard legal advice and guidance
• Informing the external counsel at all times whilst manging the business finance
• Provide support to General Counsel, as required
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Requires extensive theoretical and practical knowledge across the legal function
• Significantly influences strategy for the legal function and supporting the business
• Resolves issues that impact the direction of the business
• Performs legal review and analysis to ensure contracts are compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Adds strategic value and collaborates with others to meet the business goals and objectives
• Reviews and monitors relevant case law
