In-house Technology Lawyer

A well known Technology and Entertainment business is looking for a Solicitor to join them as their first In-house Lawyer. The role would be perfect for someone that has an interest in Games and Technology, and is looking for a move into a people-driven, innovative, and creative organisation. Salary is competitive (c. £50-60k) and benefits are valuable and quirky.

This award winning business has developed Games across a variety of platforms and has users across the world. They are recognised for their technological innovation. The succesful Solicitor will report into the Finance Director but work closely with Procurement mangers and external counsel, in addition to having daily interaction with the development and support teams.

You will advise on; a broad variety of commercial contracts, the intellectual property portfolio, a range of employment law issues, and the occasional property matter. The role will also involve advising on data protection and compliance, and ensuring the business is up to date with any relevant legislative changes.

Applications are invited from Commercial Solicitors that are "wired differently". Candidates may not be entirely satisfied working in Private Practice and will likely be looking for a role with a different way of working. You'll want to work as part of the business - collaborating with everyone from Finance and HR, to Developers.
