Defendant Credit Hire Fee Earner

Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for Fee Earners at all levels on behalf of our client, a well-known and respected, regional law firm, to be based in their Derby office.

You will be joining the Personal Injury department (which recently won a Legal 500 award) handling your own caseload of Defendant Credit Hire files and therefore should have experience in a similar role.

Duties will include;

• Running and progressing a caseload from start to finish
• Ensuring compliance with SLA requirements
• Reviewing cases on allocation
• Providing regular reports to clients on the progress and viability of cases
• Liaising with solicitors, insurance companies and third party organisations
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence and reports

For this role it is essential that you have a sound working knowledge and experience of the Civil Procedure Rules and the Road Traffic Act 1988, you should also be up to date with recent changes and trends within the credit hire industry.   

We are looking for applications from Solicitors, qualified Legal Executives or experienced Paralegals who have handled a caseload. Defendant experience would be a distinct advantage, however applications from candidates with claimant experience may also be considered.
