Brand Protection Paralegal - Licensing

Handle is currently assisting a leading entertainment business in their search for a Brand Protection Paralegal.

The successful candidate will be dealing with seizures, infringements, and anti-piracy action, with particular responsibility for liaising with customs and external lawyers, verifying the authenticity of seized products, compiling anti-piracy guides, and determining when action is required or otherwise. You will also be responsible for sending cease and desist letters, filing takedown notices, and day-to-day dealings with third party providers and the commercial team in relation to piracy queries on an ad hoc basis.

To be considered for this role, you should have 3-5* years prior experience working as a paralegal with 1-3 of those in brand protection – preferably in a media environment; and familiarity with a variety of IP licensing agreements and IP rights. Language skills will also be a distinct advantage.
