Description
The role of the Sole In House Legal Counsel will have the following responsibilities:
- Advising on all legal issues within the organisation.
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including those specifically related to distribution, transport and provision of goods to both B2B and B2C customers.
- Establishing best legal practice and helping up skill the wider organisation.
- Other responsibilities will include advising on regulatory requirements, commercial property and general litigation/dispute resolution.
- Building relationships across the business and interacting with key business stakeholders
Profile
Key requirements of the role of Sole In-House Legal Counsel are:
- A UK qualified Solicitor.
- Demonstrable experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts is essential.
- Experience of working in an in house organisation is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in an ever changing and fast paced environment is essential.
