Description
- Managing a portfolio of clients, with assistance from junior colleagues, to deliver our core annual service, ensuring that compliance matters are dealt with in a timely and proactive manner
- Assisting with annual routine filing requirements on behalf of clients, including the preparation of relevant legal documentation and submissions to Companies House.
- Assisting with the preparation of legal documentation, Companies House forms and relevant updates to statutory registers for both routine and more complex company secretarial matters, such as share capital structure changes, officer changes and amendments to constitutional documents
- Managing the on-boarding of new clients, with the aim of fostering a good working relationship, including co-ordinating initial health checks and follow up actions
- Co-ordination of large scale corporate secretarial projects, liaising with internal and external teams, ensuring that they are completed in accordance with the agreed deadline
- Working alongside colleagues in our corporate legal team to provide transactional support services
Supporting client board and committee meetings as required, including pre-meeting preparation and attending to take the minutes of the meetings. - Taking responsibility for the supervision of junior staff members workload and assisting with their training and progression
- Actively progressing internal and external business development initiatives and attendance at appropriate internal and external networking events
- Maintaining strong working relationships, both with clients and colleagues alike
Profile
- The applicant will have achieved a 2:2 or higher degree qualification in a relevant degree discipline, such as Accounting, Business or Law.
- In addition, the applicant will have completed or be studying towards the CSQS qualification.
