Private Banking Lawyer

About the Private Banking Lawyer role:

This is a great opportunity for a senior lawyer to join the wealth management arm of a global investment bank working with ultra high net worth individuals. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Legal and be the sole lawyer within this particular team giving you the opportunity to take a very entrepreneurial approach to the role.

Key responsibilities:

• Advise the ultra high net worth clients of the bank across a range of financial issues including lending, structured products, funds and derivatives;
• Assist with the global processes between the 4 regional teams of the bank;
• Negotiate with investors and other service providers;
• Assisting the Wealth Management team generally.

Your key skills:

As the Private Banking Lawyer you would have at least 8 years experience (however a different level of experience will be considered if you meet the requisite standards) dealing with high net worth individuals. You will be able to understand and have experience of the wide ranging and various needs of these clients and be able to offer them very commercially minded advice.

Ideally you would be coming from an in-house background with experience in private banking or have worked with high net worth clients in private practice.

You should be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and dealing with a large and varied caseload.
