Our client, a top tier US & international law firm here in London, is looking to hire a Paralegal to support its International Arbitration practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for: document management, proofreading drafts, preparing bundles, providing administrative support to legal teams during the preparation of legal submissions and at court / arbitral hearings, alongside other ad hoc duties as and when required.
In order to be considered for this position, applicants must have 12 months prior experience of working within an international arbitration/litigation practice. Successful candidates will also need to have gained prior experience in fulfilling tasks such as cite-checking, preparing bundles and legal submissions, and undertaking hearing preparations. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate flexibility and have a professional approach, excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team in order to meet tight deadlines. Although not essential, applications from candidates with fluency in a foreign language (notably German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian and/or Mandarin) would be welcome.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the best law firms in London and is a 6-month fixed-term contract role, paying a highly competitive salary of £38,000 per annum (pro-rata), plus paid overtime. To be considered for this role, applicants must be highly IT proficient, educated to degree level or above and ideally have completed the LPC.
