My client a fantastic legal firm are currently looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Property solicitor. The firm can offer flexibility with a fantastic working environment, a superb quality of complex work and all this within their office.
The successful candidate will be undertaking non-contentious property development work and have a property development background or general commercial property background ideally within the West Midlands or Solihull area.
Responsibilities:
¿ Client facing role working under the close supervision of a Director
¿ Sale and acquisition of land for development (option agreements, promotion agreements, conditional and unconditional contracts)
¿ Carrying out title due diligence and completing reports on title
¿ Drafting and negotiating property development agreements including funding arrangements
¿ Setting up a new plot sales site including management companies or residents associates, and the sale or letting of residential or commercial units
¿ Drafting and negotiating infrastructure agreements.
¿ Dealing with Section 106 Agreements and Planning Agreements and advising on Community Infrastructure Levy
¿ Developing client contacts within the West Midlands area.
To be successful you will:
¿ Have at least 3 years+ PQE experience in Commercial Property
¿ Be comfortable dealing with a substantial and complex caseload
¿ Have experience of handling and managing your own caseload from start to finish
¿ Be able to drive income targets
¿ Have the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
¿ You will be professional, personable & detail orientated
¿ Excellent communication and organisational experience.
