In House Construction Lawyer Job - Bristol - Contracts

Your new role
This is a non-contentious construction legal position, as part of a well-established internal legal function, of the organisation's Property business. You will negotiate, draft and review a host of agreements, including supplier, subcontractor, joint venture, bidding, warranty and other construction contracts. You will liaise with clients to agree variations and provide support throughout the contracts cycle and provide support to the commercial team. Additionally, you will build relationships with numerous relevant internal business units, becoming one of the primary points of contact for the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a 1+ non-contentious focused lawyer, with a strong commercial approach and exposure in the construction/engineering sector. You will come from either a reputable law firm or relevant in-house environment, and be able to negotiate and close contracts. You will have ideally have experience with various standard form construction contracts and be familiar with public procurement rules. You will come with a team mentality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to advise a mixture of consultants, contractors and employers.
