SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL - LITIGATION

Our client is one of the leading entertainment companies delivering outstanding content across Europe.

Their specialist litigation team are looking for a new member of the team to join them.

This role is at the heart of the litigation team, and will primarily be focussed on commercial and anti-piracy litigation. The role will offer a wide variety of cutting-edge work and provide first-class opportunities for development and growth, both within the team and more broadly across the department.

You will be responsible for providing channel clearance advice to the business as well as providing general risk management and dispute resolution advice and guidance to the broader legal team and the business as a whole. You will also run anti-piracy litigation and prosecution work. When necessary you will need to work with outside counsel and manage delivery and budget.

When you join the team you will also be part of a wider large legal and business affairs community which has top talent in the market with the highest calibre of lawyer.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience within a highly regarded law firm, or equivalent in-house, with significant dispute resolution experience. They will also have substantial copyright experience.

Strong technical legal and problem-solving skills and a commercial focus are an absolute must. The successful applicant will be skilled at building relationships and winning trust. They will also be collaborative, proactive and have a can-do attitude, and will continually strive for self and team improvement.
