Professional Support Lawyer

A leading national law firm based in South London is looking to expand their successful team and hire a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) on a part-time basis.

The PSL will be supporting the firm’s Clinical Law department which spans three offices across the country. Working closely with the Insurance team, the role will involve producing regular legal and case law updates, researching regulations changes and providing key principles surrounding client claims, assisting one of the Partners with producing collateral with a focus on business development and delivering structured training to the department. On top of this, the PSL will focus research on NHSR claims and inquests, as well as assist solicitors to conduct external client training.

The role would suit a UK or overseas qualified lawyer looking to move into more of a support function within a busy firm. In return for solid insurance and clinical negligence experience, the ideal candidate will be offered a competitive salary and the flexibility to work their part-time hours in a structure that suits them.
