Commercial Property Solicitor

A vacancy has arisen within my client's Southampton office for a commercial property solicitor within their commercial cproperty team.

Working closely with the head of department, you'll be involved in all aspects of commercial conveyancing including sales and purchases of properties and businesses, mortgaging and re-financing as well as Landlord & Tenant matters.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to help shape the department and be an integral part of growing the firm's capability in this area.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor or CFILEx with 2-5 years experience to join a growing team at a highly regarded Bristol firm.

Responsibilities will include undertaking all aspects of commercial conveyancing including sales and purchases of properties and businesses, mortgage and re-financing - both individual and portfolio.

Landlord and tenant matters including grant and assignment of leases, lease renewals, licenses to assign and to alter etc. Development acquisitions and disposals, pension properties, joint venture agreements and all other aspects of commercial property. Conduct of matters on behalf of clients in an appropriate and efficient manner. Management of support services including departmental secretaries and paralegals. Participation in marketing activities whether on a firm wide, departmental or office basis amongst other reasonable duties as directed by your manager.
