Catastrophic Injury Paralegal Manchester City Centre, Salary to £18K
Chadwick Nott have been instructed to find a Personal Injury Paralegal to join the Catastrophic Injury team of an International law firm. The role will be based in their Manchester office and the salary on offer is to £18K
Working in this award winning team you will support and assist a Partner on the conduct of their caseload. The work dealt with by the team includes injuries of the utmost severity e.g. brain injuries, amputations, spinal injuries etc. Day to day to you would find yourself drafting various court documents such as defences, instructions to counsel and court applications as well as arranging meetings and conferences. The successful candidate will be assisting 2 Associate Solicitors on all aspects of their caseloads. It is essential that you have excellent attention to detail and good time management skills.
Applications are invited from candidates who are legally qualified with a 2.1 and/or a commendation or higher on the LPC. It is envisaged that you will have a minimum of 6 months previous experience working in personal injury. Ideally this would have been gained from working in another Catastrophic Injury team, however, the firm are happy to consider those who have worked on or assisted on Fast and Multi track work also. The firm will consider those coming both a claimant or defendant background. The firm will also consider candidates with no experience provided they have exemplary academics such as a strong 2.1 or a 1st on LLB.
