Locum Planning Solicitor

An excellent opportunity for a Locum Planning Lawyer has arisen within a Local Authority in the Northern Home Counties. The position will initially be for 3 - 6 months with the possibility of further extensions beyond this initial period.

The successful applicant will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive. However, applications are welcome from non-qualified Lawyers that have the relevant experience.

The duties on a day-to-day basis are as follows:

• Drafting and negotiating s.106 planning agreements (including those relating to major applications)
• Planning enforcement matters , certificates of lawfulness and temporary stop notices
• Attending planning inquiries and advising at Planning committee
• This position offers an attractive hourly rate dependant on experience

The position offers an attractive hourly rate of £35 - 40ph dependent on experience
