12 month fixed term contract
My client are a reputable, full service law firm with a number of recommendations in the Legal 500 and Chambers directories, as well as a raft of industry awards. Due to continued growth of their Employment practice, they are now looking for an additional Solicitor to join the team.
The Employment department is one of the firm's core areas, with an enviable client base covering household names across a variety of sectors. The firm has an emphasis on advising respondent clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters, as well as working with senior executives and partnerships.
The typical duties of the role will include advisory work and Employment Litigation. You will also be required to cover transactional work which will assist the firm's corporate mergers and acquisitions team. The type of work you will be expecting will be but may not be limited to; Contracts, disciplinary, grievances, terminations and restructuring.
This position would suit a qualified Employment Solicitor of between 1 and 6 years PQE. You should have strong academics, a background within a Magic Circle, Silver Circle, US, or highly ranked Legal 500 firm. You must have the ability to deliver work at the highest standard, be motivated and committed and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
