EMPLOYMENT LAWYER - ESSEX/EAST LONDON
An Employment Lawyer is required by a leading modern and prestigious, Legal500 recommended Essex law firm.
With over 100 staff, our client are firmly positioned as market leaders geographically. Financially sound with a supportive culture and open door policy our client has a track record of outstanding growth over the last five years.
They now wish to recruit a Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in all aspects of contentious and non contentious employment law and have experience of running a diverse case load with minimal supervision.
The key aspects of the role will involve assisting employers with employment litigation, providing HR advice and support to clients, policy and procedure drafting, non contentious employment support along with delivering client training. The role holder will also be given the opportunity to be involved in business development - helping to grow the client base in Essex and London.
In addition, the role will involve assisting employees with all aspects of employment litigation, to include drafting particulars and advocacy.
You will be able to demonstrate at least 3 years plus post qualified experience of working in a contentious/non contentious employment role, have strong written and oral communication skills, show understanding of client’s needs and tailors advice appropriately and able to understand the department’s key clients, the industry they operate in and the challenges they face
