Corporate M&A Lawyer - In-House

A leading insurance solutions provider is seeking an experienced Lawyer with corporate/M&A experience to join their team. This is a fast paced organisation going through an exciting growth phase. Reporting into the Managing Director, this In-House Counsel role will include work relating to marketing, underwriting and the negotiation of cross-border international M&A transactional insurance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 4 years* experience as a Corporate/M&A lawyer, who wants to move in to an in-house role.

Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
*Implementing the underwriting and marketing strategy for Warranty & Indemnity insurance relative to risks located in the EMEA region.
*Marketing products by regarding Warranty & Indemnity insurance to brokers, law firms, other transaction related professionals through presentations and attending conferences.
*Informing the underwriting committee, the Managing Director and in-house counsel of underwriting issues in order to formulate marketable alternatives.
*Drafting, preparing and negotiating policy wording, maintaining accurate records of policies.

The ideal candidate will be an England and Wales qualified lawyer. You must also be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, an acute grasp on the operation of transaction documents and experience mitigating risk in M&A transactions.
