Your new company
A market leading technology infrastructure service provider, with extensive operations across Europe. The company manages infrastructures, implements and optimises technologies to ensure its clients, which span an impressive range of industry sectors, are maximising their output, adapting to an increasingly digital world. The valued legal function is influential at all levels across the business, requiring its lawyers to be business advisors as well as lawyers.

Your new role
This is a position replacing one of the existing team, who is moving on after a few years of service. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will draft and negotiate predictably complex commercial agreements, including high value outsourcing contracts, both in the public and private sectors. Additionally, you will advise on anti-bribery, data protection (encompassing GDPR matters) and IP issues, while building relationships with relevant internal departments. You will advise on legal and commercial risk in a broad technology focused role, as part of a specialist team of impressive legal advisers. Working from the company's Headquarters in Hertfordshire, you will be involved in high value projects with well-known blue chip clients from the start.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK-qualified lawyer with 3-6 PQE (or equivalent experience), and demonstrable experience in negotiating IT agreements, including large outsourcing deals. You will have strong technical skills, and ideally in-house exposure, which will encompass data protection and anti-bribery matters. You will be a strong communicator, able to work as part of an efficient team, with excellent negotiating skills and a passion for the technology sector. You will have strong stakeholder management experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology driven environment.

What you'll get in return
You will get the chance to work with impressive clients in an international environment, as part of a well-respected, collaborative team. You will work in a dynamic, meritocratic environment, where good work is recognised, and where you can realistically build a long term, progressive career. Alongside the high quality work, you can expect a competitive salary and impressive benefits package.
