Childcare Legal Officer

Childcare Legal Assistant required to join a well-regarded Local Authority legal team based in Lincolnshire for an initial 3 month period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic paralegal who is looking to break into a childcare role, or for somebody who is eager to gain experience within a public sector setting and work with a highly talented group of Lawyers.

Our client is happy to consider applicants with any previous paralegal experience who have a passion for child care law, and who are motivated to gain further exposure to this.

Alongside this, the successful candidate will assist Lawyers with their day-to-day workload and act as a point of contact on a variety of cases, which will involve the following duties;

• Providing support on a one to one basis
• Diary management
• Issuing files on the case management system
• Bundling on the case management system
• File management
• Drafting applications
• Taking statements

The Local Authority is situated in an easily accessible location from the East Midlands by train or car.

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience working as a Childcare Legal Officer however our client is willing to consider a canidate with any previous legal experience if the willingness and attitude is there.

This role is for an immediate start, is full time, and provides a unique opportunity for the right candiate to get a food in the door within a brilliant organisation who are willing to give opportunities to the right candidates.
