Job Title: Debt Recovery Paralegal - In-house role
Salary range (DOE): £18,000 - £20,000
Location: Manchester
I am currently working with a leading technology company based in Manchester, who are expanding Due to this continuous growth, they are now looking for Debt Recovery Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their successful team.
The Paralegal will be experienced in all stages of the Debt Recovery. You will have experience of either assisting or managing a busy caseload, under minimal supervision.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Draft documents in preparation of court proceedings and attend final court hearings where appropriate.
- Attending Final Hearings as a witness or as a legal representative
- Liaising with Courts / Barristers / Chess panel Solicitors
- Liaising with High Court Enforcement Officers
- Experience of debt recovery work
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and business stakeholders
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
