Our client is looking to recruit an In-House Commercial/Corporate Lawyer to join their legal team in Manchester. You can come from either a Commercial or Corporate background. What is essential is that you have the ability and desire to undertake different areas of law outside your specialist area of expertise.

Our client is an organisation which seeks to discover business opportunities in a variety of different markets, sectors, channels and countries. Our client is looking to recruit an In-House Commercial/Corporate Lawyer to be based at their office in Manchester.

Description

Working closely with the Head of Legal and Compliance to provide active legal support across all commercial, corporate and business compliance , including commercial contracting, corporate transactions and business legal advice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support in relation to commercial matters, including from time to time, elements of data protection, IT, consumer protection, IP, procurement, taxation, insurance, financial services support, regulatory risk management and compliance. Candidate will be expected to generate and negotiate commercial contracts and be cognisant of underlying legal principles and risks to assist the business. As a part of the legal team the post holder will manage on-going enquiries, and provide support and advice to the Directors and non-legal staff as and when required.

You will be from either a Commercial or Corporate background. What is essential is that you have the ability and desire to undertake different areas of law outside your specialist area of expertise.
