I am looking to hear from tax professionals in relation to a role that has come up at a solicitors practice in central Oxford.

The successful candidate will be forming part of the private client team handling a caseload advising high net worth clients on a broad range of tax related issues including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax as well as trust and estate administration, including preparing accounts and tax returns. Those with less experience on the IHT and CGT side of things will be given training in these areas.

You will be a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) or the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT). The STEP qualification or a willingness to work towards this qualification will be required. The firm would be particularly interested in those with experience of foreign taxation implications and double taxation treaties

You will be joining one of the longest established law firms in Oxfordshire with a superb reputation throughout the region for their private client department. As a result they are regularly trusted by high net worth individuals looking for legal advice and services.

This role would suit a solicitor or those with an accountancy background looking for more of a traditional client focused role where you can have regular contact with your clients. You can expect good quality and interesting work.
