A well-established Council based in London is currently seeking a diligent Adult Social Care lawyer to join their team.
The role will be for an initial 3 month basis with the likelihood of extension.
The position
If you are successful upon your application, you will be expected to carry out the subsequent duties:
- Mental Capacity,
- Court of Protection,
- No Recourse to Public Funds,
- Vulnerable Adults
- Judicial Review matters
- Safeguarding
- Asylum and Immigration
- In-depth knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983, the Mental capacity Act 2005 and the Care Act 2014
It is essential that you have previous experience carrying a full caseload as the successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
This role is situated in a fast-paced environment which will not only broaden your expertise but will also require you to keep up within a dynamic work setting whilst delivering a high quality service.
