Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Legal HR Manager who has at least 3 years' experience in a City law firm at Manager level to move to this outstandingly successful US law firm and pioneer their HR department.

Employed on a contract basis to cover maternity leave - you will reporting directly to the Director of Administration and head up the entire HR function covering all aspects including:-

§  Provide guidance to attorneys and staff on employee relations and performance management issues (e.g., coaching, discipline, termination);

§  Support and administer the Firm’s initiatives and operations for the London office, such as: staff training & development programs, performance assessments, recruiting and onboarding processes and leave of absence;

§  Assist with annual salary reviews and compensation adjustments for staff in conjunction with Human Resources and the Director of Business Operations;

§  Manage all London office benefits administration and renewals, including medical insurance, travel insurance and gym membership;

§  Manage the job performance of the Human Resources Administrative staff, including overseeing work assignments and providing training as needed; and

§  Handle additional related projects as assigned.

Candidates should be CIPD qualified, degree educated and be a confident, mature and approachable HR professional, who is able to cope with the demands of a small but steadily growing and successful US law firm..
