A new role for a Construction Solicitor has arisen to join a Legal 500 rated team based in Birmingham.
About the role
The successful Construction Solicitor will join a legal 500 an Chambers rated Construction team and have the opportunity to work with an impressive portfolio of client across a range of sectors.
In this role you will:
- Act on construction and engineering matters from inception to completion.
- Advise developers, employers, subcontractors, housing associations and consultants on contract formation, construction and procurement strategies and development.
- Drafting and negotiating JCT/NEC3 contracts.
- Work with both private sector and public sector clients.
The team have an outstanding reputation and will therefore allow the successful Construction Solicitor to be exposed to high quality work. This role will lend support to the non-contentious arm of the team and a clear progression plan can be outlined from the outset.
About the person
The Construction Solicitor will be:
- UK qualified with circa 0- 2 years PQE;*
- Have strong organisational and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent drafting skills;
- Attention to detail; and
- Commercial awareness.
*NQ's are expected to have a minimum of 6 months experience gained in a construction seat at a well-respected national firm.
