Billings Coordinator

Our client is a truly global law firm, operating in close to 20 territories. They are one of the biggest law firms in the world with turnover of over £1 billion and a headcount of over 5000.

London is their global HQ and is located close to mainline and tube stations. They are now looking to hire a Billings Coordinator on full time permanent basis.

Responsibilities

Accurately entering into the firms accounting systems of all billing actions

Ensuring bills are processed annually and matters to be billed in accordance with the client fee arrangements

Providing support to working capital controllers and practice groups by producing bills, draft bills, matter cost breakdowns, matter/ costs and analysis and regular detailed billing schedules for clients

Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and VAT regulations

Dealing with queries in a timely and efficient manner

Candidate Profile

Good understanding and knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules and Vat for law firms billing

Minimum of two years previous legal billing experience

Experience using MS products including strong use of Excel

Ability to work well in a team environment

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a number of different tasks to completion
