Commercial Property Lawyer required to join a local authority based in West Sussex. This is a locum role to cover maternity leave, and is expected to run for up to a 12 month period.
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake an interesting workload within a local authority which is located in a beautiful part of the country.
The successful Property Lawyer will become a valuable asset to a friendly team. The role will involve dealing with the following;
● Granting and renewing leases
● Granting and renewing licenses● Disposals● Encroachments● Land registry applications and queries
The ideal candidate will be a team-player, who is confident in managing their own caseload without supervision. Any previous local authority experience would be highly beneficial for this role, although not essential. We believe this position would be well suited to a lawyer with between 2 - 5 years post-qualification experience in commercial property.
The office is well located, situated within walking distance from the nearest train station and with multiple car parks nearby.
