Locum Planning Solicitor

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Planning Lawyer to join a Local Authority legal team in the West Midlands on a part-time basis for a short, 3 weeks assignment.
The successful applicant will be immediately available and would be ideal for someone who is looking for work alongside another assignment. You will have a thorough knowledge of planning law and will have managed their own caseload of matters in a Local Government environment.

The day-to-day duties will include:

• Providing advise on a wide range of planning matters
• Advising and representing clients in negotiations and discussions
• Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements
• Offer ad-hoc planning advice where required to clients and colleagues
• Attending planning inquiries and Planning Committees

The position offers an hourly rate of £30-35 per hour.
