Part Time Legal Counsel

This London based retail organisation is looking to recruit an in-house counsel on a part time basis.

Description

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to move into an autonomous in house role in the retails sector. Reporting into the senior management you be fully immersed in the workings of this fashion business. The role is a broad legal one with a commercial contracts bias. Outside of this you will most likely advice the business on a broader range of matters including: IP, real estate and some litigation disputes.

Profile

As my client is flexible this role could suit the following candidates. The preference would be for a more junior lawyer, with a strong commercial contracts background, looking to get into the retail sector and work a 3 day week. The alternative could be a more senior candidate who is looking for a part time role as well and only wants to work 2 days a week.

As this is a broad legal role candidates will need to demonstrate good commercial contracts experience (drafting, reviewing and negotiating) and ideally some exposure to IP, disputes and real estate matters.

More experienced candidates will need to have a background from the retail or consumer sector to be considered.
