Our client is seeking to appoint a Private Client Lawyer to help ensure they complement their current range of professional business services by enhancing their private client offering to both current and potential clients.
The Role:
This will be a Senior level appointment for the firm.
The role will require someone to lead the current private client team and to develop a clear and relevant business development strategy for taking the private client services forward.
Key responsibilities of the role will likely include:
*Managing the existing private client team;
*Devising and implementing a business development strategy for the firm's private client services;
*Providing a breadth of private client advice in areas such as estate and care fees planning, wills and
will writing, Lasting Powers of Attorney, codicils, trusts and trust administration, probate and
administration of estates, tax planning and IHT implications, and charities.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will be an experienced solicitor with at least 5 years PQE, who is familiar with the full spectrum of Private Client work and who can demonstrate a clear business development strategy.
Key Characteristics:
- STEP Qualification is preferable
- Excellent business development skills together with proven experience of dealing with high-net-worth
clients is essential
- Previous experience of managing/supervising a team is preferable
- Professional, articulate and be capable of building and developing relationships both internally and
externally
