My client is an international law firm who are looking to recruit a HR Advisor for a 12-month maternity cover.

The HR Advisor will provide the wider HR team with advisory support in the London office.

The key duties will include:

  • Monitoring attendance and overseeing absence management
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle, including flexible working requests and annual processes
  • Acting as the first point of contact for any ER issues for junior employees
  • Assisting with recruitment by drafting job descriptions, undertaking interviews and organising graduate recruitment
  • Maintaining the employee handbook in line with up-to-date employment law changes
  • Leading on key HR projects
  • Supervising and developing the HR Assistants

The HR Advisor will have significant experience in an advisory position gained within a law firm or professional services environment. Having demonstrable skills in ER case management is essential, as is being a confident and approachable communicator. A CIPD qualification would be desirable.
