The practice are now seeking a technically brilliant Senior Employment Solicitor in Hertford.

The Role
Joining a highly regarded team, including one of the practice’s Partners, the successful Solicitor will use their skills and expertise to manage an existing caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters whilst ensuring excellent client care and service. Areas may include: redundancies and reorganisations; breach of contract claims; whistleblowing; drafting contracts of employment and policies; discrimination and harassment; disciplinary procedures and; appearing in Employment Tribunals. Previous experience supervising junior members of staff and/or working knowledge of aspects of civil litigation is highly desirable but not essential.

Passionate about networking and business development, the successful Solicitor will raise the firms profile through the building and strengthening of client and referrer relationships and initiatives including seminar presentation and writing blogs and articles. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 10 years’ PQE;
You will be technically proficient, with solid experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment;
You will have outstanding communication skills and a client-focused approach;
You will have a consistently strong academic record;
Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential;
You will possess strong advocacy skills;
You will be personable, highly organised and detail orientated;
You will be a pro-active team player with a flair for business development.
