Regulatory Solicitor - Health & Safety

A global multi-award winning full service commercial practice is keen to bring on board an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to join the firms' Regulatory Team and be based in the firms' newly refurbished Birmingham city centre office to deal with a caseload focusing on Health & Safety matters.

This firm has a stellar reputation both nationally and on the international stage and is renowned across a multitude of sectors to include, infrastructure, financial services, advanced manufacturing, energy and technology. It is a truly global operation meaning that it is well-placed to advise on complex multi-jurisdictional matters across a full range of legal disciplines and it is proud to have achieved a significant number of Tier 1 rankings in the Legal 500 in recent times.

The Intellectual Property Team, which is regarded as one of the "go to teams" nationally, is keen to strengthen its existing offering by recruiting a solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE who has experience of dealing with criminal regulatory defence work with a health and safety bias. The subject matter will comprise contentious actions as well as providing non-contentious regulatory and compliance advice.

You will need to have a strong academic record as well as have exceptional technical skills which you will have honed whilst having worked at a Top 50 commercial practice dealing with health and safety regulatory matters. Any advocacy experience will be looked upon favourably as will any experience gained at representing clients at PACE interviews.

This is a rare opportunity to join a global leader and be exposed to some of the very best health and safety regulatory work in the sector. You will act on behalf of an envied client list and also work alongside some of the most prominent and experienced lawyers in the sector meaning that any experience gained with this firm will certainly open doors in the future.

A competitive salary and benefits package is naturally on offer given the firms standing in the market but what sets this role apart from others is the abundance of progression and development opportunities on offer, especially as you will be actively encouraged to take advantage of the firms' transparent talent development path to progress with the firm. You will also benefit from a good deal of client exposure and also have the luxury of working in a very supportive and collaborative environment with a very open culture.
