The Role
A rare opportunity has now arisen for a dynamic Head of Company Commercial to join a highly regarded team in Hertford. With the skills and expertise to drive a team of lawyers and additional support staff forward, the successful Solicitor will oversee day to day management, alongside a full caseload, ensuring an outstanding level of client care and service at all times. Areas may include: shareholder agreements; joint ventures; share sales and acquisitions; commercial contracts; corporate finance transactions and; buying and selling a company. Keen to play an active role in the continued success of the department and practice as a whole, the successful Solicitor will immerse themselves in business development and networking initiatives, building and maintaining client relationships to generate referrals and repeat business. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 10 years’ PQE;
You shall presently be in a management at or around partner level;
You will have a strong track record of delivering company commercial advice;
You will have a consistently strong academic record;
You shall possess strong communication skills and a client-focused approach;
You will be able to organise your workload to meet tight deadlines;
You will be personable, empathetic and detail orientated;
You will have a proven track record in business development.
