My client is a Tier 1 Investment Bank looking to hire a Funds lawyer on an initial 6 month contract.
The role is heavily focused around the banks Brexit preparations. Work will include -
Advising on fund distribution agreements and associated documentation, including working with internal colleagues to on board new distributors and identifying and managing legal and reputational risk issues that may arise
Advising on cross-border distribution issues, including analysing private placement exemptions for public and private funds
Providing legal support the European fund range (a Luxembourg UCITS SICAS) including advising on new fund launches and prospectus updates
Providing legal support for the maintenance of a EMEA fund platform (Luxembourg and UK UCITS, Luxembourg and Irish AIFs, Saudi Equity fund), including working with stakeholders in Product and Operations on product amendments, product closures and providing ongoing legal advice
