A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a trainee solicitor coming up to qualification to join a highly regarded and well established Sheffield practice. The firm is looking for someone to join its commercial property team where you will get fantastic support and access to top quality, local work. This is therefore a great opportunity for an ambitious trainee solicitor looking to qualify into Commercial Property.

The Role

From day one you will be responsible for managing and assisting on a varied caseload of all commercial property matters. This will include the acquisition and disposal of commercial properties, landlord and tenant matters such as leases and licences, development work and more
You will act for a broad range of local clients predominately within SME sector, however they also act for some plcs and owner managers too
In time, you will be expected to manage your own case load and have the ability to meet financial targets year on year
You will be given the chance to work a variety of transactions ranging from those more complex through to smaller deals
Opportunity to really get some hands on experience with lots of client contact
Excellent training and support will be offered you will have the chance to work alongside partners respected for their work throughout the region

The Candidate

You must have solid commercial property experience and excellent commercial acumen
You will have ideally undertaken a 6 month commercial property seat within your training contract
Solid client care skills and team working skills are essential, together with excellent communication and drafting skills
Our client is ideally looking for someone who is NQ however this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this level but who have the relevant knowledge/experience, together with the enthusiasm for this particular role
