Civil Litigation/Employment Solicitor

A great new role has arisen for a Civil Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established traditional practice in Sunderland. This is a fantastic role for someone who is early on their career to handle some high quality matters. Our client is a small traditional practice in Sunderland who have developed an outstanding reputation and enviable client base. The Role:

The role will give you exposure to a real mix of Civil Litigation files and no two days will be the same. Around 20% of your workload will consist of employment matters and this is an area the department is looking to expand on.

You will be handling your own files which will consist of a real mix of Civil Litigation work. This will give you exposure to probate work, contract disputes and property litigation.

You will be working on behalf of a varied client base, liaising with everyone from individuals to large companies.

The Candidate:

The firm is ideally looking to recruit a Solicitor who is a Newly Qualified, or who has up to 1 years PQE. This is a fantastic role for a junior Solicitor who is wanting to kick-start their career within a highly regarded practice with plenty of support offered from day 1.

You must have a solid amount of experience in Civil Litigation and Employment law to be considered for this role and must be able to confidently run your own caseload with little support. The firm is really looking to expand their Employment work, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is wanting to build on their experience in this area.

The role would suit someone who is looking to develop and further their career due to excellent opportunities for progression.
