Criminal and Licensing Solicitor

Litigation and licensing Solicitor required to join a large organisation in the West Midlands.


Your new company
Hays are currently working in partnership with a large and well-established organisation, seeking an experienced Solicitor with strong litigation skills. Successful candidate will also have sound licensing experience.

Your new role
You will be managing a caseload of complex and contentious cases in respect of regulatory and licensing matters. You'll provide legal advice to directorates and service areas and be expected to draft relevant legal documents including pleadings. You will also represent the council in relevant courts and tribunals.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success. You will also be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive that holds a current practising certificate. The ideal candidate will also have experience within Regulations and Prosecutions for a Local Authority.
