A leader within the construction field, based in Berkshire is seeking an Assistant Company Secretary to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

This exciting opportunity reporting directly to the Company Secretary will offer you exposure to a broad range of company secretarial matters for approximately 300 companies including overseas branches.

My client is looking for a confident candidate who has the ability to work under their own initiative whilst achieving deadlines. You will be accurate and work to high standards.

Role Responsibilities:
*Support on all UK and Group corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions
*Assist with the administration of continuing company matters, including shareholders, bondholders and unclaimed dividends
*Maintenance of company statutory books
*Attend board and shareholder meetings, providing detailed minutes
*Maintenance of records for trading names and trademarks

Candidate Requirements:
*You will have a minimum of 4 years experience working within the Company Secretarial field
*Good knowledge of the Companies Act
*Strong technical knowledge and ability to interpret, communicate and apply corporate law
*Good interpersonal skill in dealing with senior executives and directors
