The Company
An exciting opportunity to join the in-house legal team of a leading and highly regarded UK retail and commercial bank. The role requires an experienced employment lawyer, with a strong private practice background, to join the existing legal setup in Bristol.
The Role
You will be joining in a senior capacity and have a wide variety of work which you will lead on.
Giving proactive advice to senior stakeholders, HR professionals and to the legal team on range of issues including: employment litigation, disciplinaries, redundancies and business restructures, discrimination and TUPE. There is a level of experience expected with this role and you must be able to manage the costs and quality of external counsel in line with internal controls, provide appropriate training and risk reporting to mitigate material risks to the company.
Required Experience
You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate confidently with key stakeholders within the business. Strong knowledge of material employment risks in the financial services sector would be advantageous.
