Corporate Lawyer – Renewable Energy Business
Our client is a forward-thinking renewable energy business with exciting growth plans. They were established less than 10 years ago and already have developed a market leading presence, both in the UK and internationally.
This business is seeking a qualified lawyer to support the corporate legal team on a broad range of work as well as private equity restructuring and company secretarial tasks, such as distribution of dividends, registration of security and filings. You will be required to work autonomously and as such, a strong understanding of corporate law is required, as well as knowledge of the above areas. You will oversee (but not directly manage) two other members of staff and will report to the Deputy Head of Legal.
Requirements:
- UK qualified solicitor with at least 3 years* post-qualification experience
- Experience in corporate law from a highly regarded law firm or In House business
- Energy sector (specifically renewable) experience would be advantageous
- Secondment / In House exposure or a good commercial understanding would be advantageous
