This leading Scottish law firm is looking for a private client solicitor with up to 3 years’ experience to join its Tax and Estates team in Edinburgh.

The department acts for an enviable client base of business owners, entrepreneurs, business executives, directors, landowners and trustees offering bespoke services and solutions on a national and international scale, with advice ranging from personal estate planning for HNW individuals through to managing multi-million pound trusts and estates.

They are looking for a solicitor to manage a caseload of trusts and executries, wills and powers of attorney, and estate planning matters including providing tax advice for their HNW clientele. You will have experience dealing with a variety of estates, liaising with HMRC, beneficiaries and executors. Able to demonstrate good technical skills, you will be able to work unsupervised on the more straightforward matters, but of course guidance will be on hand 24/7.

The team is actively involved in business development, and as part of this role, you will be meeting with prospective clients and intermediaries on a regular basis.

If this private client solicitor role sounds like it could be of interest, please get in touch for a confidential and no obligation discussion.

Alternatively, if this opportunity is not quite right for you, we have a strong variety of opportunities across the central belt, Dundee and Aberdeen - so please get in touch and update me as to your job search criteria.
