Legal 200 practice seeks a Senior Property Lawyer with a following, for busy team in Cambridgeshire.
The Firm
Our client is a Legal 200 firm with a network of offices, delivering high-quality services to businesses and individuals across a wide range of areas. They have gained numerous accreditations including Lexcel and are recommended in the Legal 500 for services including Private Client, Real Estate and Dispute Resolution. The Role
We are now actively seeking a dedicated Lawyer for a successful Property team based in Cambridge. With a following of clients and/or strong contacts in the local market, the successful Lawyer will manage a varied and complex caseload which may incorporate: landlord and tenant matters; acquisitions of freehold and leasehold property; disposals; real estate finance; portfolio management and; commercial and residential developments. Experience in development projects is therefore highly advantageous but not essential. In addition the successful Lawyer will be required to supervise junior members of the team, therefore previous experience acting in a supervisory capacity is essential.
With a proven track record in business development, the successful Lawyer will lead marketing initiatives, build and maintain client relationships and participate in initiatives for the practice as a whole. The Candidate
You must be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE;
You will have strong technical skills and ideally development projects experience;
You will have a following of client and/or good contacts in the local market;
You shall have previous experience supervising more junior members of staff;
You will have a strong track record of academic success;
You will have a flair for business development and marketing.
