Our client, a medium-sized law firm in the City, is looking for an HR Assistant to cover for a maternity leave.
As part of a team of 4 in HR, you will be working closely with the HR Manager and HR Advisers covering the full range of broad HR generalist duties including new joiner documentation, reference requests, inductions, updating documentation for new joiners, leavers, probation periods, salaries, keeping holiday and absence records updated, Recruitment Administration including arranging interviews and logging CVs onto the system, advise outsourced benefits providers of changes including new joiners and leavers, arrange meetings and presentations, log attendance of employees on training courses including keeping CPD records for lawyers, maintaining HR database, producing reports, administration and preparation of parental leave paperwork, invoices, filing and responding to HR queries plus generally supporting the team as required.
You will require at least 18 months' HR administration experience, ideally in a law firm although they will consider other professional services. Salary is negotiable according to experience.
