A highly skilled Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or non-qualified Conveyancer is required to join a specialist property firm in central Leeds as a Technical Team Leader/Conveyancing Manager. This opportunity should really stand out to a conveyancing fee earner with a high level of technical capabilities and ideally management experience, who is looking for a new challenge, and a step away from every day large case management with a desire to manage a team and get more involved in the behind the scenes processes of Residential Conveyancing.

Established in 2000 our client has developed and is now one of the UK's largest specialist conveyancers. Since the firms formation they developed an impressive client list including seven of the ten largest lenders in the UK and a high calibre of estate agency brands.

-You will also handle policy, risk and compliance matters on behalf of the team.
-As team leader, you will be heavily involved in the performance management of team members, as well as ensuring work is allocated correctly.
-You must be prepared to step in and pick up work if needed.
-It will be your responsibility to consistently improve the processes which the team use in order to improve the efficiency of the department.

The Candidate:
-In order to be considered for this role, it is essential that you have a minimum of eight years' experience working in Residential Conveyancing, specifically working on freehold and leasehold files as well as new build and shared ownership.
-It would be preferable if you have team leader experience or experience in management or development of staff, however, this is not necessary and those without will still be considered.
-You must be commercially aware with a strong interest in and knowledge of Residential Conveyancing and the current market.
-The role would particularly suit an individual who is used to dealing with volume processing of cases and has experienced a significant breadth of legal issues.
-Previous experience of compliance management in conveyancing would be desirable
