In-House Barrister, Healthcare Regulatory, Professional Discipline - London, Salary to £90K+ Benefits

Chadwick Nott have been instructed to find an In-House Barrister for a role with one of London's leading Healthcare teams. Salary will be dependent upon experience and will be to c£90K.

The team have an outstanding reputation within the Healthcare Regulatory field and act for many regulatory bodies involved in the field of professional discipline in the health and legal sectors. The role will involve presenting cases as well as managing an investigatory caseload and preparing those cases for hearings before panels and committees of the relevant regulators and the SDT. The hearings will include both interim and substantive hearings which are often straightforward but will also include more complex matters before the SDT. As many of the cases will be contested and given the opportunity to appear in the High Court it is envisaged that the successful candidate will be a minimum of 4 years call.

We are keen to speak to Barristers, both employed and in practice. You should have substantial experience dealing with professional discipline matters, ideally within the Healthcare Regulatory field. Aside from this you should be able to demonstrate self motivation and a strong commercial aptitude.
