General Counsel - Media - PQE 6+

Handle are excited to be working on behalf of an instantly recognisable media brand in their search for a General Counsel.

Heading up a team of four, the successful candidate will be supporting activities across the group and in multiple jurisdictions.

If successful, you will have the opportunity to work on an incredibly broad range of contracts, including but not limited to: licensing, franchise, promotions, sponsorship, technology, and suppliers agreements. You will also play a key role in overseeing all legal issues relating to the growth of the business; advise the business regarding Data Protection; support the commercial, marketing and digital teams with all legal issues; and assist the CFO with Co.Sec. duties – amongst many more responsibilities.

To be considered, you should have c.6-12 PQE*, first class training from a leading firm, and preferably have in-house experience in a digital/media company.
