Fund Lawyer
About the Fund Lawyer role:
This is a great opportunity for a funds lawyer to join the asset management arm of a global bank in London as Vice President.
The role will include supporting the Asset Management business with a particular emphasis on the Passive business line.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing legal support to the Passive business in particular exchange-traded UCITS funds and exchange-traded commodities;
* Overseeing the establishment of new funds and certificates including new platforms when necessary;
* Instructing and managing external counsel where necessary;
* Reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of funds and certificate documents.
Your Key Skills:
As the Funds Lawyer you will have 4-8 years experience (however a different level of experience may be considered) working on funds ideally with a particular emphasis on UCITS funds. An ability to think commercially and relate to different business perspectives is important as well as an awareness of regulatory change in the funds space. Prospectus directive knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
